The Internal Audit Manager supports the Head of Internal Audit in delivering the audit strategy and strengthening governance, risk management, and internal controls across Bidvest Noonan’s operations in Ireland and the UK. The role provides independent assurance to senior leadership and contributes to continuous improvement across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities of Internal Audit Manager
Support creation and delivery of the annual audit plan.
Lead audit planning, fieldwork, and reporting with clear, practical recommendations.
Monitor emerging risks and regulatory changes.
Work closely with Finance Leadership, including Risk & Compliance, Accounting & Controls, and Commercial Finance.
Build strong relationships with leaders while maintaining independence.
Improve audit tools and processes using technology and data analytics.
Identify efficiency, control, and margin‑improvement opportunities.
Key Requirements of Internal Audit Manager
Eligible to work in Ireland and the UK.
Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
Minimum 2 years’ PQE in internal audit or external (statutory) audit, coming either from a Top 10 accountancy practice or from industry (non‑Financial Services).
Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
Detailed understanding of risk, controls, and compliance.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Full driving licence; willing to travel (~10%).
