Minimum qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
* 5 years of experience in program management.
* Experience in Network Infrastructure projects.
Preferred qualifications
* Experience in partnering with cross-functional teams to define and improve business processes to enhance automation, reduce lead time and manage changes.
* Experience in defining data standardisation and data mapping.
* Experience in Program Management, with a focus on data inventory and data science.
* Ability to adopt data-motivated approach towards solving complex issues.
* Excellent problem solving and financial skills.
About the job
In this role, you will own and drive projects for the EMEA Network Acquisitions (GNA) Planning team. You will be involved in data-driven analysis to develop overall Network Topology plans, compiling technical requirements for network assets such as fibre and leased wavelengths in order to meet forecast demand, while complying with Network Architecture guidelines. You will support the optimisation of Google’s Production Network for scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency while maintaining the ability to meet new product rollout in a timely manner. This will be accomplished through close cross-functional collaboration and teamwork with Strategic Negotiators, varying Technical Program Managers (TPgMs) and Network Engineers across multiple teams.
