Job Title: Sales Account Manager
About the Role
We are recruiting for a Sales Account Manager to look after the European market for our client, a growing global medical devices company. This is a hybrid role, with approximately 2/3 days a week spent in our South Dublin office.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and develop distributors and MTO customers in European markets, ensuring client satisfaction and achieving sales targets through key account management activities such as weekly calls and monthly reviews.
* Implement sales plans to drive revenue growth and meet or exceed sales goals.
* Lead and move opportunities along, negotiating and finalising deals.
* Work with internal parties to assist customers with the tendering process.
* Track and report on account activity, providing monthly status updates to management.
* Advise customers on products, performing demos independently and devising solutions for them.
* Provide feedback from clients and users to the Product Development, Marketing, and Supply Chain team and other stakeholders to continuously improve customer satisfaction.
* Conduct bi-weekly market research to identify new opportunities and competitors' strengths and weaknesses, suggesting improvements to stay competitive.
* Participate in conferences, industry events, and professional development activities to expand the network and enhance knowledge.
* Coordinate with the Marketing team to develop and implement strategies to promote products and services.
* Understand and stay up-to-date with the latest medical research to facilitate informed discussions with clients.
* Explore the Middle East Markets for new opportunities.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in a similar regulatory industry or in the Life Science sector. Experience in the Gastroenterology market is an advantage.
* Proven track record of achievement in the last three years is a must.
* Fluency in spoken and written English is a must.
* Excellent communication skills, including effective relationship management.
* Strong presentation skills, including the ability to create proposals tailored to customer needs and to demonstrate effectively.
* Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
* Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, approximately 25% of the time.
