About the role
Our Commercial Sales team at Klaviyo is responsible for driving new business across Southern Europe, working with brands to show how Klaviyo’s platform can transform the way they own their customer relationships and revenue.
As Sales Manager for Commercial in Southern Europe, you’ll be responsible for building and leading a team of Account Executives focused on net new business across Italy and Spain. Working closely with the Senior Director of Commercial Sales, you’ll set and execute on our go-to-market strategy for the region — partnering across Sales, Customer Success, Partnerships and Marketing to win customers and build a strong, scalable outbound engine.
This is a newly created role, offering a rare opportunity to shape team culture, sales motion and execution from the ground up. It’s ideal for a hands‑on leader who thrives in fast-moving environments, enjoys building playbooks, and knows how to balance people leadership with strong execution.
Within this role you will
Hire, train, and lead a team of Commercial Account Executives focused on Italy and Spain
Accurately forecast your business each week and month, identifying trends and reporting effectively within Salesforce
Drive outbound strategy and execution, including prospecting motions and opportunity generation across Southern European markets
Provide daily sales coaching and performance management, using weekly scorecards to hold the team accountable to specific KPIs
Set clear new business goals — weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual — and hold the team accountable to delivery
Provide continuous feedback on market dynamics, competitive landscape and customer requirements, sharing insights back into the business
Work cross-functionally with Sales, Sales Ops, Marketing and Partnerships to continually optimise lead generation and sales effectiveness
Manage and lead the sales process for more complex or high-value deals, including ROI analysis, security reviews and legal considerations
Transform workflows by putting AI at the centre — building smarter systems and ways of working from the ground up
Who you are
2+ years of people management experience including coaching and development in a SaaS sales environment
Fluent Italian and Spanish speaker in addition to English
Proven track record of success and overachievement within a SaaS sales role, either as an individual contributor or a manager
Strong command of forecasting, pipeline management, and sales metrics
Ability to quickly assess skills gaps, develop improvement plans, and inspire those around you
A clear point of view on running effective 1:1s, team cadences, and outbound motions
Proven experience of cross‑functional collaboration and building relationships with stakeholders at all levels
Highly comfortable with a changeable and fast‑paced environment, including high velocity sales cycles
You’ve already experimented with AI in work or personal projects — you’re hungry to explore new tools and find smarter ways of working
Full authorisation to work in Ireland without any restriction
Nice to have
Experience in MarTech, eCommerce, or adjacent SaaS categories
Enterprise deal exposure
Experience as a first‑of‑kind manager building a new team in a region
Familiarity with the Italian and/or Spanish business landscape
