Director of Sales & Marketing
to join its senior leadership team.
This role presents an exciting opportunity for a strategic thinker who thrives in a premium environment and enjoys shaping the commercial direction of a high-end operation.
The Key Objective
The successful candidate will take ownership of the overall sales and marketing strategy, working closely with the executive team to drive sustainable revenue growth across a diverse mix of leisure, corporate, group and international markets.
Leading a skilled and motivated sales and marketing function, you will play a central role in positioning the business competitively while ensuring performance consistently meets and exceeds financial targets.
The Role
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing integrated sales and marketing initiatives that support both short-term results and long-term brand strength.
You will build and nurture strong relationships with key corporate clients, agency partners and industry stakeholders, ensuring the business remains top of mind within its chosen markets.
A hands-on approach to key account management will be essential, alongside the ability to identify new opportunities and convert them into measurable revenue streams.
A strong understanding of market dynamics will be critical.
You will monitor trends, analyse performance data and assess competitor activity to inform pricing, positioning and sales direction.
Working collaboratively with revenue management, operations and front-of-house teams, you will ensure sales strategies are aligned with operational delivery and guest experience, maximising commercial performance across all departments.
The role also involves a visible leadership presence.
You will mentor and develop your team, fostering a culture of accountability, creativity and continuous improvement.
You will contribute to annual budgeting and forecasting processes, support long-term planning initiatives, and represent the business professionally at selected industry events, trade shows and client engagements.
The Candidate profile
It is
essential
that you have knowledge of the Irish Hospitality Market.
The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in a senior sales and marketing role within an upscale hotel or resort setting (5* or 4*), along with a strong record of revenue delivery and relationship-building.
You will be commercially minded, highly organised and confident operating at executive level, with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
A relevant third-level qualification or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
