Accounting Technician Apprenticeship September 2025 Intake The Accounting Technician Apprenticeship is a two-year, work-based education training programme which leads to a Level 6 Advanced Certificate in Accounting from Accounting Technicians Ireland (ATI). Qualify as an Accounting Technician, you will gain significant experience working in our accounts department with a designated mentor and attend classes one-day a week in Limerick College of Further Education. You will emerge from the programme with a valuable qualification, which is strengthened by two years of work practice modules in accounting and finance. Upon graduation, you will be eligible to apply for membership of ATI, the leading professional body for Accounting Technicians in Ireland and the provider of the highly sought-after MIATI designation. ATI qualifications provide a strong foundation in accounting principles and practices. Accounting Technician is concerned with bookkeeping, and processes all accounts payable and receivable in order to prepare, or support the preparation of accounts. Entry Requirements (as set by ATI): CAO POINTS - 300 CAO (or equivalent) points with a pass (O6/D3) in Leaving Certificate English and either Leaving Certificate Mathematics or Accounting (within the last 5 years).
