Job Title: Data Centre Network/System Engineer
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Centre Network/System Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, building, administering and maintaining servers using best practices in a mixed Windows, Mac OSX and Linux environment.
* Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or other IT related field with at least 3 years of hands-on experience supporting servers and network configuration.
* Design, build, administer and maintain servers using best practices.
1. Solid knowledge of IDF/MDF/IPF/Data Center : Networking principles including Ethernet, RSTP/ MSTP, VLANs, IP Routing TCP/IP OSPF BGP Multicast QoS Experience with databases networks LAN WAN patch management Knowledge of system security data backup/recovery
