We are seeking an experienced event professional to join our team as an Event Coordinator. This is a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the success of our events.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in event management, coordination and execution. They will be responsible for collaborating with internal teams and external partners to deliver seamless event experiences.
* Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure flawless event execution.
* Utilize social media and other channels to generate buzz and communicate program notices.
* Negotiate contracts with vendors, venues, and suppliers to maximize value.
* Manage event budgets and track expenditure and incoming revenue.
* Coordinate service and venue providers, suppliers, tenders, quotes, and contract negotiation.
* Coordinate large quantities of data.
* Collaborate on PR & Comms strategies.
* Oversee all aspects of the event - production, design, entertainment, room setup, registration, event management, and take-down.
* Respond to event-related queries daily.
Key requirements:
* 3+ years' experience in event management or wedding coordination.
* High proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* High level of attention to detail essential.
* Friendly, approachable, and able to take direction.
* Can-do attitude.
* Organized.
* Clear communicator.
Desirable qualifications:
* Degree in Event Management (Business/Marketing related fields considered).
* Driving license and access to own transport a plus.
