The Role As Front of House Supervisor, you will play a key leadership role in the day-to-day delivery of weddings, corporate events and hospitality services.
You will support management, lead shifts, motivate staff and ensure every guest receives a warm, professional and memorable experience.
Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise Front of House teams during weddings, events and service periods Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure high presentation and service standards at all times Act as a point of contact for guests and couples on the day, handling queries and resolving issues professionally Support staff training, onboarding and mentoring of new team members Communicate clearly with kitchen, bar, coordinators and management teams to ensure smooth service flow Assist with opening/closing procedures, cash handling and end-of-shift reporting when required Maintain knowledge of Cloughjordan House offerings, layouts, service styles and event formats Ensure compliance with health & safety, food hygiene and company procedures Maintain a positive team atmosphere and lead by example on busy service days The Ideal Candidate You will be someone who: Has a strong passion for hospitality and guest experience Enjoys working as part of a team and supporting others to perform at their best Is calm under pressure and comfortable managing busy services Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills Takes pride in high standards and attention to detail Is reliable, organised and professional in approach Experience & Requirements Minimum 2 years hospitality experience (supervisory experience highly desirable)Proven ability to deliver high-quality customer service Strong teamwork and leadership skills Excellent communication skills Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and event days Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment What We Offer Competitive hourly rate based on experience Opportunity to work in a unique, award-winning wedding venue Supportive team culture Training and development opportunities Clear progression pathways within the business Job Type: Full-time Pay: €16.00-€18.00 per hour Ability to commute/relocate: Cloghjordan, County Tipperary: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Work Location: In person
