Wrights of Howth is a fourth-generation Irish family business rooted in the heart of Howth, North Dublin. Known for our world-famous Organic Irish Smoked Salmon and artisan food heritage, we've built a reputation for excellence across our locations in Howth, Heuston Station, and Dublin Airport.
We're now looking for a Floor Supervisor / Senior Waiter to join our team at The Dog House, our quirky, character-filled restaurant that's as much a local institution as it is a culinary destination.

The Dog House isn't your typical restaurant—it's a place where vintage charm meets modern hospitality. Think velvet couches, candlelit tables, and a wood-fired pizza oven in a converted train carriage. We serve up hearty food, great coffee, and a warm welcome to locals and visitors alike.
Who We're Looking For
We're seeking someone with solid hospitality experience who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment. You'll be hands-on with service while also stepping up to lead the team, support daily operations, and ensure every guest enjoys a memorable experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver exceptional table service with professionalism and warmth
* Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations
* Lead and motivate staff, setting a positive example through your work ethic
* Handle guest enquiries and resolve issues promptly and courteously
* Foster a customer-first culture where feedback is valued and acted upon
* Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
* Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and cost control
* Uphold hygiene and safety standards
* Contribute ideas to enhance our unique menu and guest experience
Qualifications
* Proven experience in hospitality, ideally in a senior waiter or supervisory role
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Ability to inspire and energise a team
* Proactive problem-solving mindset
* Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays

* Restaurant Supervision or management: 1 year (required)
