VHA are seeking a Bookkeeper to join our team on a part time basis.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational skills, and be able to work independently using their own initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and maintain accurate financial records
* Upload and maintain accurate data on companies PMS system
* Ensure accurate documentation is in place on all files
* Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including processing invoices, reconciling payments, and resolving discrepancies
* Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure precise transaction recording
* Assist in preparing financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
* Collaborate with other team members to support financial decision-making
* Processing payroll
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a bookkeeper
* Proficiency in accounting software e.g. Sage, QuickBooks
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Work and Outlook
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and best practices
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
* Strong organisational and communication skills required
* Must be a team player with the ability to work autonomously
