Job Title: Vehicle Technician
We are seeking a skilled vehicle technician to fill a vacancy in our team.
The ideal candidate will possess prior experience working on plant machinery and heavy goods vehicles (HGVs/LGVs), hold a valid driver's license, and demonstrate good awareness of health and safety protocols.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Maintaining HGVs through servicing and scheduled safety inspections.
* Preparing vehicles for MOT testing.
* Diagnosing mechanical faults.
* Responding promptly to vehicle breakdowns on-site and on the road when necessary.
* Collaborating with colleagues to maintain our fleet of Scania, DAF, Man Trucks, and refrigerated and flat trailers.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.00pm.
