About The Role
As a Graduate Engineer, you will join our structured 24‑month development programme, gaining exposure across key areas of the business including production, design coordination, quality, and site operations.
From the outset, you will be immersed in live projects, working alongside experienced engineers and industry professionals. Through a combination of practical experience, formal training, and mentorship, you will develop the technical and professional skills required to progress into a permanent engineering role within Techrete.
Key Responsibilities
Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of precast and construction projects
Assist with production processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to specifications
Work closely with design teams to coordinate drawings and technical details
Monitor project progress and contribute to programme delivery timelines
Participate in quality control processes and ensure compliance with company standardsPromote and maintain high standards of health & safety across all activities
Prepare technical reports, documentation, and project records
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including commercial, operations, and site teams
About You
A motivated and proactive individual with a strong interest in engineering and construction
Eager to learn, develop new skills, and take on responsibility
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a teamOrganised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks
A problem-solver with a practical and hands-on approach
Required Qualifications / Expertise
Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering
Understanding of engineering principles and construction methods (desirable)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of CAD or similar software is an advantage
Strong numerical and analytical skills
Minimum 70% passing grade in theory of structures, mechanics of materials, concrete design and steel design in final year (or very similar modules)
