Tabu, a well-known restaurant in Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny is thrilled to announce a significant expansion with the launch of our dedicated Daytime Café Service. We are currently recruiting for a motivated and skilled Barista/Server to be a vital part of this exciting new chapter.

The Role: Elevating the Daytime Experience
As a Daytime Barista/Server, you will be the cornerstone of our morning and afternoon operations. Your primary focus will be to deliver consistently high-quality beverages and attentive service, ensuring every guest has a positive experience.
Key Responsibilities:
* Barista Expertise: Skillfully prepare a diverse range of hot and cold beverages, focusing on consistency, speed, and beautiful presentation (latte art skills are a bonus).
* Customer Service: Warmly welcome and efficiently serve guests, taking food and beverage orders accurately, handling transactions, and confidently answering menu questions.
* Front-of-House Operation: Maintain a clean, organised, and appealing café environment, including the coffee station, service areas, and seating.
* Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly with the kitchen team to ensure prompt delivery of light food options and an overall smooth service flow.
What We Are Looking For

Required Attributes:
* Experience: Previous experience as a Barista and/or Server in a busy hospitality setting is highly preferred.
* Attitude: A genuine passion for food and drink, combined with a friendly, energetic, and professional demeanour.
* Reliability: Strong work ethic and commitment to being punctual and present for all assigned daytime shifts (may include weekend rotation).
* Efficiency: Ability to multitask and maintain composure and efficiency during peak service periods.
* Quality Focus: A dedication to maintaining the high standards of quality and service associated with the Tabú brand.
