As a Senior Grade Psychologist, you will take a leading role in providing high-quality psychology services to children and young people (0–18 years) and their families, enabling them to achieve their full potential.
* You will plan and manage a complex caseload, providing expert assessments and interventions that meet the needs of our clients.
* Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to staff grade psychologists, assistant psychologists, and students, ensuring they develop the skills and knowledge required for success.
* Take a lead role in service planning, innovation, and development within the psychology discipline, driving excellence and best practice.
* Delegate tasks appropriately and support the development of junior staff members, fostering a culture of collaboration and teamwork.
* Contribute to research and quality improvement initiatives, ensuring our services are evidence-based and effective.
* Represent the psychology discipline at internal and external meetings and conferences, promoting our organization's reputation and expertise.
* Act as a mandated person under the Children First National Guidelines, upholding the highest standards of professional and ethical practice.
Key Requirements:
* A recognised university degree or diploma (QQ1 level 8 equivalent) obtained with 1st or 2nd class honours in which Psychology was taken as a major subject and honours obtained in that subject.
* An Irish post-graduate professional psychology qualification accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland in Clinical, Counselling or Educational Psychology.
* No less than five years' satisfactory post-graduate experience in professional psychology.
