Maintenance Manager
The ideal candidate will be continuously assessing equipment, systems, and processes to ensure they are safe, reliable, and running at peak efficiency. This person will be confident leading a team, coordinating maintenance schedules, and identifying improvement opportunities through detailed analysis. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential, along with a hands-on approach to leadership and a proactive mindset.
Responsibilities
* Monitor and maintain the functionality, safety, and compliance of all machinery, equipment, and facility systems
* Escalate issues promptly and coordinate timely repairs to minimize downtime and operational impact
* Conduct regular safety checks, inspections, and training sessions for maintenance staff
* Analyze performance data and equipment reliability to drive continuous improvement initiatives
* Manage preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance schedules using CMMS tools
* Oversee spare parts inventory and liaise with vendors to ensure availability of critical components
* Track maintenance budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising standards
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field preferred)
* Minimum 5 years’ supervisory experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
* Strong knowledge of heavy machinery, utilities, and maintenance processes
* Proficient in CMMS software and familiar with preventive and predictive maintenance techniques
* Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
* Experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
* Certification in maintenance management (e.g., CMRP, CRL) is a plus
