Overview:
The successful candidate must have the ability to work on their own initiative or as part of a team with minimal supervision. The role involves a variety of maintenance works and installations.

Your Responsibilities:
* Experience in water/wastewater treatment plant installations is preferred.
* Installation of Stainless Steel, Ductile Iron, and PVC pipework of various sizes.
* Installation of equipment such as pumps, valves, blowers, augers, penstocks, platforms, and access equipment.
* Experience with Chemical Systems, including bulk storage tanks, kiosks, chemical dosing pumps, pipelines, double-contained pipework, and instrumentation fitting/installation.
* Handling chemicals like Aluminium Sulphate, Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Hypochlorite, Polymers, Sulphuric Acid, and others related to water treatment.
* Commissioning of equipment such as centrifugal pumps, submersible pumps, dosing pumps, PC pumps, actuators, conveyors, motors, and gearboxes.
* Familiarity with instrumentation used in water treatment, including level, flow, pressure, pH, chlorine, and turbidity sensors.
* Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, P&ID’s, and technical documents.
* Willingness to travel within Ireland as required.
* A full clean driver’s license is essential.
Required Experience:
* Supervising directly employed fitter crews.
* Supervising subcontractor fitter crews.
* Training client operators for plant operation post-commissioning.
* Managing site logistics including material take-offs, work planning, resource allocation, and health & safety compliance (induction, RAMS, toolbox talks, permits, documentation).
* Coordinating with subcontractors across disciplines such as civil, electrical, and automation.
