PMO Operations Manager Job Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled PMO Operations Manager to join our team in Kildare, Ireland. This is an exciting opportunity to play a central role in delivering large-scale renewable energy and public good projects.

* This includes developing and implementing project delivery frameworks, governance structures, and standardised processes to ensure efficient execution of major infrastructure projects across renewable energy, peatland rehabilitation, and public good initiatives.
* Driving consistency in project management methodologies, templates, and standards across the portfolio.
* Providing operational oversight to Program and Project Managers throughout all project phases, ensuring delivery is on time, to scope, and meeting organisational priorities.
* Producing accurate and timely performance reports and dashboards for executive stakeholders and governance boards.
* Managing resource allocation across multiple projects, balancing internal and external capacity.
* Acting as a key liaison between the PMO, project teams, and internal and external stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment.
* Leading and managing a team of project analysts, coordinators, and support staff, providing guidance, performance management, and workload prioritisation.
* Championing the development of project management capability across the organisation, offering mentoring, coaching, and training to build a strong delivery culture.
* Promoting and upholding best practice in risk management, governance, and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
* A third-level degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or related discipline (Master's degree advantageous).
* A minimum of 10 years' project management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior PMO or project management role within the energy or infrastructure sectors.
* A proven track record in delivering large-scale renewable energy or infrastructure projects from planning through to execution.
* Familiarity with Irish regulatory, grid, and planning frameworks relevant to energy infrastructure.
* Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to work across multi-disciplinary teams.
* Professional project management certification (e.g. PMP) desirable.
* A comprehensive understanding of project management principles and systems to deliver large-scale projects using a lean outsourced delivery model.
