Copius Group have a permanent position in the South West of Ireland for an ambitious Electrical Estimator in the South West of Ireland.
Job Description:
As an Electrical Estimator, you will be integral to our project development and implementation process. Working closely with the Planning Manager, Project Manager, and a multidisciplinary team of engineers and industry experts in a leading international Mechanical and Electrical Contractor.
Electrical Estimator Responsibilities:
* Tendering on various large-scale projects, including commercial, pharmaceutical, data centres, healthcare, and more.
* Managing the full tender process from start to finish.
* Ongoing liaison with relevant parties.
* Informing managers of bid prospects.
* Attending pre- and post-tender interviews.
* Assembling sub-contract quotes, ensuring compliance with specifications.
* Attending both internal and client meetings as required.
* Completing take-offs from tender drawings.
* This role offers exposure to a wide range of expertise in pharmaceutical, life sciences, construction, and other sectors.
* The successful candidate will receive support to develop their knowledge and skills as their responsibilities grow and evolve.
Electrical Estimator Skills and Requirements:
* To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
* Degree in a relevant Engineering discipline.
* Trade background would be advantageous.
* Experience in pharmaceutical projects is beneficial, demonstrating your understanding of industry best practices and technologies.
* Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills, able to collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, and external partners.
* Excellent organisational and planning skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office systems.
* Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and personal development.
* 3-5 years of experience in a relevant field.
