Job Description:
Transport Operations Manager
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day transport operations, ensuring seamless execution and high levels of customer satisfaction.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage the transport team to deliver excellent service quality and meet or exceed KPIs.
* Plan, schedule, and coordinate transportation routes to optimize efficiency and productivity.
* Implement process improvements to enhance fleet maintenance programs, reducing downtime and costs.
* Monitor and assess performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
* Prepare regular performance reports for senior management, highlighting key achievements and challenges.
Requirements:
Essential Criteria:
* Proven track record in transport management, including experience with vehicle and manpower management.
* Holding a full clean Category C Driver's License and valid Driver CPC Card is advantageous.
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and engage teams.
* High computer literacy, especially MS Office applications.
* Excellent customer service, people management, and problem-solving skills.
* Familiarity with transport legislation, including EU drivers' hours, Working Time Directive, and Operator Licensing Compliance.
