Project Leadership Opportunity
We are seeking an exceptional project leader to oversee a large-scale apartment development in Dublin as a permanent staff member.
* The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site staff and sub-contractors, ensuring works progress as planned.
* Manage site staff and all sub-contractors on a day-to-day basis to ensure works are progressing as planned.
* Ensure all health and safety procedures are implemented.
* Establish and monitor the construction programme.
* Review designs and make recommendations on buildability and cost saving while maintaining quality and improving margin.
* Coordinate timely flow of information from the design team and prepare necessary schedules/ RFI's.
* Closely liaise with the contracts manager/ construction director to ensure business objectives and project strategies are met and exceeded.
* Work commercially minded – manage project finances with project QS's to work towards exceeding budget targets.
* Monitor construction regarding quality of workmanship and materials.
* Maintain maximum cost effectiveness through efficient use of resources.
* Ensure compliance with drawings, specification, building regulations and good building practice.
* Establish project resource requirements and lead motivate the project team.
* Ensure compliance with local statutory and regulatory obligations.
* Engineering or construction qualification and 5-7 years' experience in similar role.
* Team management experience and ability to mentor and develop junior staff.
* Good time management skills and ability to meet agreed deadlines.
* Strong knowledge of building detail and construction technology.
* Excellent written, oral communication and time management skills.
* Strong IT skills with use of Word, Excel, MS Project.
* Procore experience helpful.
