Qualified Accountant – Practice

Our client, a well‑established and growing accountancy practice, is seeking a Qualified Accountant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a practice‑trained accountant looking to further develop their career within a collaborative and professional environment.
The successful candidate will work with a varied portfolio of clients including audit exempt companies, sole traders, and partnerships, while also supporting and mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities
Preparation of accounts for audit exempt companies, sole traders, and partnerships
Preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns
Preparation and filing of Corporation Tax Returns
Completion of Company Secretarial Returns and related compliance work
Managing client relationships and responding to day‑to‑day queries
Supervising and supporting trainees within the practice
Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting and tax regulations
Assisting with ad‑hoc assignments and practice support work as required
Candidate Requirements
Fully qualified ACA / ACCA / CPA
Completed training within an accountancy practice environment
Minimum of 2 years’ post‑qualified experience within practice
Strong experience preparing accounts for SME clients
Good working knowledge of Irish tax compliance requirements
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and client priorities
Experience supervising or mentoring trainees is advantageous
Strong attention to detail and client‑focused approach
