About the Role:
As an Assistant Store Manager, you will support your Store Manager in various key areas. Some of these responsibilities include driving sales and profits, delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining store operations, and ensuring that your store is well-merchandised and commercially correct.
Sales and Profit: You will be responsible for driving and achieving retail store targets. This includes developing strategies to increase sales and profit, while also monitoring and analyzing sales reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Customer Service: Delivering the finest level of customer service is crucial in this role. You will be expected to provide a high-quality shopping experience for customers, responding to their needs and resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
Store Operations: Keeping the store running smoothly is essential. This includes managing inventory, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring that the store is visually appealing and easy to navigate.
Team Leadership: As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in training and coaching the store team. This includes identifying areas where team members may need additional development, providing feedback and guidance, and supporting them in achieving their career goals.
Additional Responsibilities: You will also be required to receive training on ear piercing and assist with this service as needed.

About You:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A high school diploma or equivalent
* Minimum one year of retail management experience
* Excellent verbal/written communication and organizational skills
* Basic computer skills
* Sound understanding of mathematics and strong reading comprehension skills
* Ability to analyze sales reports and strategically problem solve
* Ability to stand during scheduled shifts
* Ability to maneuver up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally
* Bending, stooping, extended reaching, climbing ladders, and step stools while placing merchandise throughout the store and assisting customers
* Ability to operate a POS system
