Job Title Maintenance Engineer Job Location Co. Louth Salary €50K - €55K DOE About the Company: This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join an established engineering team within a world-renowned engineering company. You will support all operations and maintenance requirements across the site and to ensure continuation of process improvements. This role will be a Monday Thursday 8am 5pm and with an early finish on the Friday. Roles & Responsibilities: Maintain all plant machinery to ensure safe, continual and efficient operations. Ensure that periodic and preventive maintenance are appropriately scheduled and accomplished and that emergency troubleshooting and maintenance support are readily available as needed. Manage maintenance goal setting, activity scheduling and work allocation to ensure measurable goals, proper workload distribution, goal satisfaction. Monitor and continually improve maintenance processes and maintenance personnel performance to achieve enhanced levels of efficiency. Coordinate with operational functions to identify potential inefficiencies or obsolete processes and/or technologies. Produce detailed cost analysis on new opportunities in line with business processes. Continually seek to drive improvements in equipment efficiencies and operational. performance. Drive, support and participate in ongoing continuous improvement projects for machine downtime reduction. Liaise with equipment vendors to establish appropriate preventive/predictive maintenance schedules. Mentor and manage apprentices. Ensure compliance to industry quality and environmental standards; develop and implement appropriate supporting documentation. Share knowledge and experience with others and provide relevant training to colleagues, where required. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent. At least 3 years experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong background working with CNC machines and robotics. Experience working with and mentoring technicians or apprentices desirable. Excellent communication skills.
