Overview

In Digital Sales, we empower customers through the Microsoft cloud by building a globally‑led, digital‑first organization aligned with partners. As part of our local subsidiaries or Digital Sales centres, you will support a dedicated set of customers, identify and achieve their business objectives through best‑in‑class digital engagement and partner co‑selling. You will collaborate cross‑functionally while living our shared culture of diversity, wellbeing, sustainability, giving, and learning.


Responsibilities

* Customer First Mindset – Engage with and enable our customers and key decision‑makers, delivering a connected customer engagement experience and driving customer satisfaction through digital sales excellence.
* Identify key business and IT decision makers, engage them to understand their business challenges, and identify the best business applications to drive value.
* Effectively turn prospects and qualified digital leads into opportunities and revenue pipeline, engaging customers across industries, company sizes/types to determine their needs and identify opportunities with Microsoft’s leading cloud technologies.
* Meet operational standards and maintain reporting accuracy for key performance indicators – pipeline development, signal conversion, deal velocity, and forecasting accuracy.
* Share best practices, learnings, and customer insights with stakeholder groups to elevate team capabilities and drive change based on insights.
* Work in a fast‑paced, collaborative, and dynamic environment with field specialists, technical resources, and partner teams to manage customer opportunities, deliver connected customer experiences, and accelerate value across the lifecycle.
* Maintain a positive approach to problem‑solving, learning, and development in a rapidly growing business with evolving market conditions and customer needs.
* Build pipeline by leading with industry, using digital signals & insights to prospect, network, engage, and nurture with right BDMs, align & gain account team commitment, plug into cross‑solution sales motions.
* Engage with partners – Leverage and scale through aligning early with priority co‑sell partners and ISVs.


Qualifications

* Sales and negotiation experience; or Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Marketing, or related field with sales and negotiation experience.
* Proven experience selling cloud services to large/global customers.
* Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills. For the Austrian Market, German language fluency (verbal and written) is required.
* Understanding of partner ecosystems and the ability to leverage partner solutions to solve customer needs.
* Knowledge of enterprise software solutions and cloud platform competitor landscape.
* Demonstrate the business value of Microsoft’s solutions with an understanding of strategies and products relative to major competitors.
* Maintain high productivity, manage competing priorities, and work effectively with high levels of autonomy in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
* Build relationships, collaborate, and influence across organizations, functions, and stakeholder groups.
* Operational and sales excellence discipline, including planning, opportunity qualification and creation, stakeholder communication, partner engagement, and pipeline management.
* A desire to learn, grow, and drive change.
* Experience selling CRM or similar SaaS, cloud‑based business applications to large enterprise accounts exceeding sales targets.
* Develop demand and pipeline by building BDM networking, assessing strategic customer objectives, digital transformation discovery, and measuring incremental economic value from solutions proposed.
* Sell solutions with connected end‑to‑end business transformation across enterprise accounts.
* Accurate forecasting and maintaining pipeline hygiene.
