Financial Planning & Analysis / Cost Management Analyst
12-month Fixed-term Contract
Location: Dublin, Cork or Galway based (50% hybrid working)
We're looking for a talented FP&A / Cost Management Associate to join our Finance team at Aviva Ireland General Insurance on a
12-month Fixed-term Contract.

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Support development of annual business plans and financial forecasts.
* Prepare quarterly forecasts, variance analysis, and performance insights.
* Deliver monthly and quarterly management reports for senior leadership and board.
* Partner with the business to drive cost optimisation and budget control.
* Provide strong challenge and support to stakeholders, ensuring accountability for performance.
Skills & Experience:
* Previous experience working in
FP&A or in the insurance industry
is essential.
* Advanced Excel / PowerPoint skills (TM1 or similar tools an advantage).
* Knowledge of cost accounting fundamentals and financial concepts.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Familiarity with IFRS 17 and general insurance industry metrics
