OverviewWe have partnered with a leading professional services firm in Ireland. They are looking for a Financial Services Corporate Tax Manager to join their team in Cork, Dublin or Galway.The tax practice focuses on delivering technical expertise, diverse perspectives, and innovative technology to support clients in navigating international tax change. You will work with high-profile clients, build relationships with senior stakeholders, shape client strategies, and leverage data analytics, automation, and AI to create impactful tax solutions.ResponsibilitiesLead & Deliver: Manage complex corporate tax compliance and advisory projects for financial services clients (banks, insurers, asset managers), ensuring technical precision and commercial relevance.Cross-Border Expertise: Advise on tax implications of international transactions (structuring, due diligence, post-acquisition integration) with focus on BEPS Pillar 2 and global tax reform.Legislation Application: Interpret and apply Irish and international tax legislation (corporate income tax, withholding tax, VAT) to client scenarios, identifying compliance requirements and planning opportunities.Compliance Oversight: Oversee preparation and review of corporate tax returns, ensuring timely and accurate submissions, and liaising with tax authorities on audits and inquiries.Risk Management: Develop and implement tax risk management strategies, including governance frameworks and documentation protocols for financial services entities.Technology & Innovation: Advise on tax technology and automation solutions (analytics tools, automation, robotics) to streamline compliance and reporting processes.Team Leadership: Mentor and supervise junior colleagues across Dublin, Cork, and Galway, providing technical training, feedback, and career development support.A professional qualification in ACA (or equivalent), law and/or Tax, or be AITI qualified (or hold an equivalent qualification in a Commonwealth country such as Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, or the UK).Corporate Tax Financial Services experience and currently be working in a professional services firm.QualificationsAs above: ACA (or equivalent), law and/or Tax, or AITI qualified (or equivalent in a Commonwealth country).Experience in corporate tax within the financial services sector and currently employed in a professional services firm.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionAccounting/AuditingIndustriesAccountingAccounting and Financial ServicesLocationDublin, Cork or Galway, Ireland
