- Cork City (on-site) An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Accounts Assistant to join a growing finance team in Cork City.Working closely with the Financial Controller and senior finance professionals, this role is perfect for someone looking to build on their foundational finance experience in a supportive, high-growth environment.This is a full-time, on-site position.Responsibilities: Invoicing & Ledgers: Processing purchase invoices, preparing monthly sales invoices, and reconciling supplier statements.Banking: Daily bank reconciliations and reconciling company credit cards.Credit Control: Assisting with customer account management, sending bill reminders, and resolving payment queries.Payroll Support: Assisting with payroll time-sheet management and processing.Reporting: Helping the team prepare reports for management and assisting with month-end closing tasks.Administration: General accounts work and ad-hoc office duties as required by the Finance team.Requirements: 2/3 years' experience working in a similar role.Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel; experience with Sage or similar accounts packages is an advantage but not essential.High attention to detail, a positive "can-do" attitude, and the ability to work on your own initiative.Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills and fluent English are essential.
