Job Title: Service Manager
Our organisation is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Service Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a new respite intellectual disability service in Kildare.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff rotas, performance, and professional development, while ensuring care plans are up to date and accurate.
Duties:
1. Oversee all aspects of the residential service's operations.
2. Manage staff performance, develop skills, and maintain a positive working environment.
3. Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulatory standards.
4. Conduct regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
5. Maintain accurate records and report to regulatory bodies as required.
6. Lead by example, promoting dignity, respect, and person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Managing staff rotas and developing their skills.
* Ensuring compliance with HIQA regulations.
* Leading a team to deliver high-quality services.
Requirements:
* Recognised Level 8 qualification in health or social care and registered with CORU.
* Level 6 in Management.
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in a supervisory or management role in Respite settings.
* Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and care standards.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
