The successful candidate will contribute to the design and delivery of innovative, enterprise-scale data solutions, with a strong focus onadvanced analytics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning, helping to transform data into a strategic asset and drive meaningful business impact.Job ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines using cloud-based data platforms.Design and optimise ETL/ELT processes to ensure robust data quality and security.Apply advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI methodologies to deliver actionable business insights.Work collaboratively with business stakeholders and data architects to translate requirements into technical solutions.Monitor and enhance data systems for performance and cost efficiency.Support data analysts and business units by delivering clean, well-documented, and accessible data.Promote best practices in data engineering, documentation, and solution design.Maintain awareness of technological trends to continuously improve data solutions.Experience RequiredMinimum of 5 years' experience in data engineering or data science roles.Hands-on experience with modern cloud data platforms and data warehousing technologies.Proficiency in Python and SQL programming.Solid understanding of data modelling, ETL pipelines, and distributed data processing.Demonstrated experience applying AI and machine learning frameworks in a business context.Desirable SkillsStrong working knowledge of Azure Data Services (e.g. Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks) and Snowflake.Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines for data workflows.Understanding financial services operations and regulatory environments.Experience in agile environments and continuous improvement methodologies.Educational RequirementsA third-level degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline is required.Working Hours & BenefitsMonday to Friday, standard office hours.Hybrid working model with flexible work-from-home options.Competitive salary and benefits package.HOW TO APPLY:If you are interested in this role, please apply for this role with your updated CV.
