We are seeking an Operations Manager with a technical background to join our growing team to supervise operations, manage crews, assign tasks, monitor output, while developing their technical knowledge on environmental solutions to become an expert in their field. This role would suit someone with a background in Engineering, Logistics, Production Management or H&S looking for the next step in their career, that will develop a broad set of skills including: Health and Safety, Environmental compliance, Waste management, ADR and DGSA regulations Team Management, Commercial ability with exposure to pricing and profitability All training will be provided to the right person with the right attitude, with excellent career progression opportunities. #ijclassic Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Requirements: Relevant technical qualification/or sufficient experience Strong People Management Experience Appetite to take ownership Strong Health and Safety Awareness Strong practical and energetic approach to every task Excellent communication skill, verbal and written Strong IT Capabilities, Word, Excel, ERP and Finance packages DGSA qualification or knowledge of the carriage of dangerous good by road would be an advantage. Experience in confined spaces, working at heights and chemical handling would be an advantage Experience with ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 450001 Must have a full, clean, driving licence.
