I'm currently working with a well -established financial services firm to appoint a Head of 1st Line Financial Risk and Liquidity Management. This is a senior leadership opportunity within a collaborative, regulated environment offering broad strategic exposure, team management, and ownership of liquidity, capital, and treasury processes.
Role Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
* Lead daily cash and liquidity monitoring, forecasting, and client deposit oversight
* Own and develop the firm's ICARAP process, working closely with internal and group stakeholders
* Deliver enhancements aligned with EBA/SREP liquidity risk guidelines
* Oversee a high -performing treasury team and work closely with outsourced partners
* Drive improvements in the treasury operating model, risk controls, and client asset adherence
The Person:
o 7+ years' experience in financial services, ideally within a regulated investment or banking environment
o Strong ICAAP/ICARAP and liquidity risk knowledge
o Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, formulas)
o Leadership experience and strong stakeholder engagement capabilities
