AV AirFinance, in conjunction with KKR, is a loan servicer in the commercial aviation space, arranging financing to airlines, cargo operators, lessors, manufacturers, and investors secured by new and used commercial aircraft and engines. AV AirFinance is an active market participant, having underwritten over $3bn of loans since inception in mid-2021.
We are seeking an AVP Operations join our growing team in Ballsbridge, to backfill an internal move. This role will support our internal Operations, managing office management, and supporting certain finance functions. The ideal candidate will be motivated, team-focused and extremely well-organised, and will value a varied role.
This role will require attendance in our Dublin office minimum Tuesday to Thursday every week. The successful candidate may be required to attend the office on Mondays or Fridays, should business needs arise.
Responsibilities:
* Maintaining a welcoming, efficient office environment, first point of contact for guests, visitors and employees.
* Developing and overseeing processes to keep the office organised and running smoothly, including budgeting, IT and vendor management.
* Managing the office credit card receipts and submitting monthly report using Concur.
* Coordinating Company events, either in the office, offsite or remotely.
* Managing health, safety and security activities.
* Assisting the Head of HR with onboarding and offboarding, benefits management and other HR initiatives.
* Maintaining annual conference schedules.
* Working with the Head of Operations to develop various internal policies and procedures.
* Managing the Accounts Payable process from end to end.
* Managing the employee expense reimbursement process.
* Gathering invoices required to complete the VAT returns.
* Assisting with the KYC process for vendors.
* Assisting with internal and statutory audits.
* Preparing monthly cash flow summary and bank reconciliations.
* Assisting with budget preparation and forecasting projects.
* Working with the Finance and Treasury teams on other ad-hoc projects.
* Ready to assist with ad hoc tasks as deemed reasonable.
Suitable Candidate:
* 5+ years’ experience in a similar role.
* Experience working with QuickBooks and Concur preferred but not essential.
* Solutions-focused with a flexible, collegial attitude.
* Self-motivated, excellent attention to detail.
* Superb interpersonal skills.
* Good decision-making skills and the ability to function well under pressure while working in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Highly skilled with Microsoft Office (Word / Excel / PowerPoint / Outlook).
