GP Practice Manager – The Menopause HubContract: Permanent, Full TimeHours: 39 hours / weekYou will be required to work 3 daays in our Santry clinic (d09n97V) and 2 days in Mt Merrion (A94E0C1)Role Description:The Practice Manager is responsible for the smooth and efficient running of our busy and growing menopause Practice. The role involves overseeing the day to day running of the business, with responsibility for ensuring a patient centric service, effective management of the team, financial performance and operational efficiencies.Key responsibilities:Patient Focused:Creation and maintenance of a patient centred culture, focused on delivering a high quality patient experience.Oversee the bookings process and ensure the highest level of communication and professionalismDeal with any patient feedback, queries or complaints & effective handling of sameLeadership skills:Create an effective and efficient team with a strong focus on performance excellenceProvide leadership to the team, through regular meetings, objective setting, and effective communicationRecruitment & appointment of new staff members as appropriateInduction of all new staff members, including clinicians, practitioners and administrative staff into practice culture, processes and policiesManagement of practice roster to ensure appropriate cover in place at all timesOperationsAccountable and responsible for office management and in-filling for medical secretary / receptionSupply management - stock and order of all medical and office suppliesCompliance with legal & statutory regulations / GDPREnsure practice management software & IT systems are maximisedDevelopment & implementation of policies and proceduresFinancial ManagementEnsure day to day financial management systems are in place and implement same, i.e. daily sales, reporting and reconciliation.Recommend ways to improve the financial performance of the practiceDevelopment of reports to ensure key performance indicators of practice are easily visibleExperience Requirements:Previous management experience in a GP practice.Demonstrate strong people management skillsPossession of commercial acumen with proven track record of managing people and financesKey SkillsPatient FocusThe ability to remain calm under pressure, and deal with all types of people and situationsAn ability to manage the flow between patients, administrative and medical staffPersonal QualitiesHonesty and IntegrityPatient first approachOpen communicatorTeam workDignity & respectCan do attitudeMultitaskerAdaptable to a changing environmentTeam WorkAbility to work with other team membersAbility to 'roll sleeves up' and help otherStrong interpersonal skillsStrong communications skillsEssential experience:Must have experience as GP practice manager - otherwise no interviewExcellent written & spoken EnglishJob Type: Full-timePay: €22.00-€27.00 per hourExpected hours: 39 per weekBenefits:Bike to work schemeOn-site parkingWork from homeApplication question(s):Are you aware that this role will require you to work in two different locations - 3 days in Santry & 2 days in Mt MerrionExperience:GP practice management: 3 years (required)Language:Fluent English (preferred)Work Location: In personApplication deadline: 27/11/2025
