We are seeking a Catering Equipment Service Technician to service and maintain all catering equipment for the southern region. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience, a good working knowledge of catering equipment, servicing, and maintenance, and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
* Troubleshoot and problem-solve catering equipment issues
* Maintain, operate, and repair relevant equipment
* Perform routine and preventive maintenance
* Inspect equipment for wear and damage, perform minor repairs and adjustments
* Maintain inventories, store, retrieve, and assemble/disassemble equipment
This role involves travel and responding to breakdown emergencies. A full clean driving license is required. Knowledge of catering equipment such as ice cream and milkshake machines, fryers, grills, pizza ovens, hot counters, ovens, dishwashers, toasters, and refrigeration systems is an advantage.
The successful candidate will be responsible for adhering to standards and procedures, ensuring others do so as well. Collaboration with the Service Manager and Store Managers to maintain high standards is essential. Building positive relationships with management and staff, motivating through personal contact, is crucial. A positive, can-do attitude is essential.
