Come on board and join us at the pulse of technology in Dublin!Job DescriptionAs a Lead Principal System Engineer for the IO subsystem of our automotive microcontroller, you will take ownership of the process from defining product requirements to handing over to the design team, working closely with technical marketing, system architecture, development, product development, technology development, and chip-package co-design.In your new role you will:Define new high-speed interfacing architecture for functional components and transfer requirements to our development teamsBe the lead engineer for the high-speed memory interfaces (LPDDR)Drive system-level understanding and consistent behavior across multiple silicon derivatives and packaging variantsContribute to the IO configuration concept, support pad multiplexing strategies, and drive alignment across system-level peripheral integrationBe the interface between our application engineering and development teams and drive active knowledge transferEnsure the right sourcing strategy of high-speed communication interfaces based on our application assumptions together with the platform architectsServe as the Technical Interface for both internal and external IP providers, taking responsibility for the following activities:Managing technical topics within the IP analysis phaseIdentifying synergies between different IPsSupporting interactions with internal IP providers and pad-frame development teamsChallenging requirements to achieve the best area-power-performance ratioEnsuring cost competitiveness and compatibility with automotive quality and safety requirementsOwning and creating technical documentation to provide functional descriptions and guarantee ISO 26262 complianceSharing implementation know-how with othersYour ProfileYou are a team player who communicates flexibly and proactively within cross-functional teams.
