Job Description
Duties
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
Experience working with people with intellectual disability is desirable. Responsibilities include supporting actors with an intellectual disability in their daily work at Blue Teapot while working alongside the staff, tutors, and facilitators. Ensure that the actors are ready and prepared for workshops and rehearsals and that the workshop/theatre rooms are set up to the facilitators/directors’ requirements. Undertake caretaking supervisions within the building, assisting actors with daily cleaning duties as well as ensuring that the canteen, toilets, and workshop/theatre facilities are cleaned and stocked with necessary provisions. Welcome the actors as they arrive each day, communicate regularly with staff regarding actor’s schedules and report any issues.
