Group Financial Accountant – 15-Month FTCDublin/ HybridWe are partnering with a leading global organisation to hire a Group Financial Accountant on a 15-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified accountant to gain exposure to a high-performing group finance function, working across SEC reporting, group consolidation, and global accounting processes.Reporting to the AVP, Group Finance & Reporting, this role offers strong visibility across both finance and technology teams, with the opportunity to contribute to ongoing process improvements in a dynamic international environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the quarterly group close and consolidation processAssist with SEC reporting and group financial reporting requirementsPrepare group financial statements and supporting analysisReconcile group eliminations across multiple business unitsLiaise with external auditors during reporting cyclesSupport and maintain the general ledger (SUN), including code set-up and period managementContribute to process improvements and system enhancementsAssist with training and support across group finance processesInvolvement in ad hoc projects as requiredOur client is seeking a newly qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA accountant with exposure to the insurance industry, either gained in-house or through working with insurance clients in practice.The ideal candidate will have a strong grounding in financial reporting, advanced Excel skills, and experience using accounting systems such as SUN and/or Workiva (highly desirable).
