We install kitchens/canteens in our schools and provide onsite food service.
We are currently recruiting for a Catering Supervisor, full-time and part-time Catering Assistants at Gaelscoil Thulach na nOg, Dunboyne, Co Meath. This position will commence in September.
Our employees are welcomed as part of the school community. They are off during break periods: midterms, Christmas, Easter, and summer (unpaid). This may appeal to people with school-going children. We do not offer set working days; flexibility is essential. The position is subject to Garda Vetting.
* The Supervisor role is approximately 28-30 hours per week, Monday - Friday, with shifts from about 8:00 am to 2:30 pm.
* The full-time Catering Assistant role is approximately 28-30 hours, Monday to Friday, with shifts from about 8:00/8:30 am to 2:30 pm. Shift times may vary based on business needs.
* The part-time Catering Assistant role is approximately 10-18 hours per week, operating on a 2-3 day rotation, with shifts from about 8:30/9:00 am to 2:30 pm. Shift times may vary based on business needs.
These roles involve preparing hot lunches onsite, delivering them to classrooms, and cleaning up afterward.
Additional Supervisory duties include: rostering, placing orders with food service providers, and reporting.
Strong time management, people management, and organizational skills are essential due to strict break times.
Previous catering and supervisory experience and knowledge of HACCP are advantageous but not essential.
