A key role in our organisation involves heading the Corporate Affairs function, ensuring a strong corporate reputation on a national level. This requires someone who can take our current external reputation to the next level by aligning it with our exciting business plans.
Responsibilities
* Managing and delivering our corporate communications strategy to develop the organisation's reputation and relationships
* Providing a strategic advisory communications function to the CEO and Executive Leadership team
* Accountable for reputation management for the organisation, identifying and prioritising emerging issues
* Building and maintaining effective relationships with key external stakeholders
* Key professional within the business on crisis and issues management
* Work closely with regulatory colleagues to develop and execute public affairs strategies aligned with our business goals
* Monitor legislative and regulatory developments that could impact the organisation
* Build and maintain relationships with government officials, agencies, and policymakers
* Identify key stakeholders and manage ongoing engagement with these
* Responsible for the strategic planning and effective delivery of our B2B PR strategy
* Manage Business PR requirements ensuring a strong share of voice for us in the B2B space
* Manage Consumer communication strategies as part of wider integrated marketing campaigns
* Drive PR efforts that enhance our brand visibility through developing and executing consumer-focussed campaigns
* Deliver our strategic direction in Corporate Social Responsibility in Ireland
* Plan strategy for current charity partners
* Identify and execute employee Fundraising, Volunteering Policies & Initiatives
* Provide proactive PR support to deliver on our CSR strategy
* Manage and support the CSR Manager and Communications Manager to help them achieve their goals
* Encourage and enable cross-functional working within the team
* Direct responsibility for managing corporate communications agency and consumer PR agency
