Job Title: Construction Management Professional
We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join our team in Tipperary. Our client is a reputable civil engineering contractor with a strong presence in the power and wastewater sectors.
The Role:
As a Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders across multiple business units. You will assist in the preparation of project documentation, programs, schedules, and execution plans.
* Deliver projects to agreed schedules, scopes, quality standards, and budgets.
* Ensure timely project reporting and forecasting.
* Work closely with the Health, Safety, Quality, and Environment (HSQE) team to manage and implement procedures across project sites.
* Oversee budgets, valuations, and costs while ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
You will also be responsible for identifying and initiating necessary change control processes, proactively planning to prevent problems, and resolving emerging issues. Additionally, you will analyze, manage, and mitigate risks, ensure quality construction standards, and manage the workflow of subcontractors.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A formal education in Construction Management or a related field.
* Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role at a comparable level.
* Outstanding client relationship management skills with a strong client focus.
* Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, methods, and techniques.
* Familiarity with construction management software.
* Competence in conflict and crisis management.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
