Our client a leading multinational retail chain is seeking to recruit a Deputy Manager for their busy location in Co. Tipperary
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced retail leader to oversee a vibrant, fast-paced store. You will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service, driving team performance, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This position is ideal for a motivated manager who thrives in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.
Key responsibilities
1. Deliver a smooth, customer-first experience by effectively overseeing all daily store operations.
2. Motivate, mentor, and develop your team to consistently meet and exceed performance and sales goals.
3. Review KPI performance, interpret key data, and take proactive steps to drive overall store success.
4. Ensure the shop always presents to a high standard, maintaining an inviting, on-brand environment.
5. Maintain full compliance with operational procedures, policies, and regulatory requirements.
6. Cultivate strong customer relationships, responding to queries and feedback with professionalism and care.
7. Oversee stock levels, manage replenishment, and ensure the store layout and presentation remain at their best.
Skills & Experience
8. 2-4 years' experience in retail or hospitality management within a fast-moving, customer-focused environment.
9. Previous supervisory or assistant management experience essential.
10. A strong leader with excellent communication and people skills.
11. Passionate about customer service and building positive team culture.
12. Organised, commercially aware, and confident managing KPIs and budgets.
13. Adaptable and proactive, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
