Assistant Director of Nursing
A key leadership role is available for a highly skilled and experienced nursing professional who can provide exceptional clinical leadership and support to the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day clinical operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, and promoting a positive work environment.
About the Role
* The Assistant Director of Nursing will be responsible for ensuring that all home policies and clinical standards are fully understood, implemented, and consistently practiced.
* They will review and audit nursing documentation to confirm accurate assessments, timely care planning, and appropriate management of residents at higher clinical risk.
* Oversight of ward rounds and ongoing clinical issues is also a key responsibility.
* The successful candidate will work closely with the DON to ensure safe medication management in line with NMBI/An Bord Altranais guidelines.
* They will ensure staff competency, support GP/pharmacy liaison, complete regular MAMS medication audits as well as maintain clear open communication with all staff senior management>.
