This involves having an integrated multi-sectorial approach that is evidence based. This involves the provision of dental treatment to the eligible population on a targeted approach. Essential CriteriaCandidates must have at the latest date of application: Professional Qualifications, Experience, etc. 1. Hold a Degree, Licence or Diploma in Dental Surgery / Dental Science; And 2. Be registered in the Register of Dentists for Ireland or be entitled to be so registered; And 3. Have had, since becoming eligible under paragraph (1) above, at least one year of satisfactory experience in the practice of dentistry; And 4. Possess a high standard of professional knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office. Health A candidate for and any person holding the office must be fully competent and capable of undertaking the duties attached to the office and be in a state of health such as would indicate a reasonable prospect of ability to render regular and efficient service. Character Each candidate for and any person holding the office must be of good character.
