Senior Data/Reporting Analyst - Leading Financial Services Firm (Belfast)
**Inside IR35 | Hybrid | 3 days on-site**
A proactive analyst is required to drive process improvement, data automation, and analytical insight within a major banking organisation.
Key Responsibilities Convert data into actionable customer insights to support targeting and segmentation.
Enhance processes by evaluating new data sources, tools, and capabilities.
Deliver monthly reporting (collection, preparation, distribution) while automation is developed.
Conduct exploratory and confirmatory data analysis.
Perform testing, quality control, and maker-checker activities.
Partner with business teams to build, implement, and refine decision strategies.
Complete data analysis, validation, mapping, and documentation.
Maintain high data quality through unit testing and timely information delivery.
Improve existing data sources and support integration of new systems. Person Specification Qualifications & Experience Degree in Economics, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar.
5-7 years' relevant experience.
Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Excellent presentation, documentation, and analytical skills.
Self-motivated with strong prioritisation abilities. Competencies Detail-oriented, analytical thinker.
Strong project/time management and ownership mindset.
Clear, proactive communicator.
Curious about technology, innovation, and digital tools.
Able to work independently with sound decision-making.
