Job Title: Operations Management Specialist
WFL is an engineering solutions contractor specialising in the commercial, industrial, medical and educational sectors. We provide a range of services from design and build turnkey packages to installation, fit-out, maintenance and 24-hour on-call services.
The role is responsible for day-to-day management of onsite operations and productivity, including company operatives, subcontractors, and all personnel on-site for the project.
This project is a CAT-A commercial fitout in Dublin 3. It's a fast-paced environment, and the person will play a vital part in the smooth-running of the project.
Key responsibilities of the role:
1. Manage and drive a proportion of the overall site team to meet all project scope requirements and targets.
2. Maintain a high standard of quality on site, i.e., quality construction and materials installed.
3. Coordinate and plan resources, inclusive of labour, materials, and subcontractors when engaged and required.
4. Ensure adherence to both legislative and company safety and quality standards.
5. Prepare relevant reports in line with company policies and practices.
6. Familiarise yourself with Project Specifications - General and Particular specs.
7. Familiar with Electrical Schematics and Layout / General Arrangement Drawings.
8. Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards on a continuous basis.
9. Report progress throughout the project timeline.
10. Ensure correct PPE is always worn by operatives on site.
11. Keep the workplace tidy and free of excess materials.
12. Plan and execute work in the most productive manner.
13. Comply with site instructions regarding the formulation and implementation of RAMS - SPAs etc.
Requirements:
1. Completed all Phases 1-7 of SOLAS Apprenticeship - FETAC Level 6.
2. Successful in Senior Trades exams.
3. At least 2 years post Senior Trades qualification working as a Foreman.
4. Strong communication skills with fluency in both written and spoken English.
5. Strong Electrical Experience working with an Electrical contractor.
6. Ideally, the Operations Management Specialist will possess experience within the following sectors: pharmaceutical, industrial, semiconductor, clean room, labs, hospitals, data centres, etc.
7. Ability to work well under pressure and within a strict deadline environment.
8. Ability to form part of the management team on a large-scale project.
Benefits:
Competitive hourly rate between €30 to €40 per hour. These are typically paid for 40 hours per week, and you will be paid for any overtime hours worked.
