We are seeking a Junior Safety and Health Engineer / Safety Professional based in Dublin to work on various projects across the country, acting as Project Supervisor Design Process (PSDP). The role may also involve working as a health and safety coordinator appointed by the PSCS (Project Supervisor Construction Stage).
Description and Details
The successful candidate will be a motivated professional committed to fulfilling the company’s roles on projects and fostering a positive safety culture. An interest in Safety and Health Legislation and a desire to develop expertise through our graduate training programme are essential.
Main Duties
1. Assisting with the discharge of the PSDP role on construction projects
2. Attending client, design, and site meetings
3. Preparing preliminary safety and health plans
4. Compiling and preparing safety files
5. Preparing health and safety reports
6. Conducting site visits
7. Coordinating and liaising with all parties involved in construction projects
8. Carrying out inspections and preparing reports on legal cases concerning health and safety
9. Working with contractors and PSCS to discharge the role of PSCS on projects
Requirements
Education: Degree in a construction-related discipline such as:
* Architect
* Building Surveyor
* Civil & Structural Engineer
* Mechanical & Electrical Engineer
Experience: Minimum 1 year
