Partners have been retained on behalf of a new to market global Venture Fund,
who due to growth and on the back of a successful fund raise are currently
looking to hire a Senior Associate to join their Dublin team. Our client has
invested over 3 billion globally across the early stage tech/med tech space
since inception and are interested in speaking with investors with 5 -7 yrs
experience working in the venture or growth capital space preferably in the
early stage technology sector.
· Evaluation of potential investment opportunities
with early stage technology businesses
· Being part of and supporting the deal process which
includes research – market, product and comparable businesses along with the
appropriate due diligence
· The individual will have a strong network in the
entrepreneurial tech start up space in Ireland, or the right skills to enable
us to support their integration in this space
· Play a key role in creating the commercial
framework for the deal and ensuring the negotiations are completed
· Strong mentorship qualities and willing to support
the development of the more junior members of the team
Requirements
· Full member of the Investments team, working on the
execution of acquisitions for the fund Origination of investments,
carrying out an initial investment appraisal and due diligence of acquisitions
· Full involvement in all aspects of the transaction
process including valuations, preparing and reviewing of documents,
negotiation, management of advisors through to completion
· Working with investee companies to help them
achieve their strategic objectives
· Strong financial and commercial analysis including
modelling, due diligence, research
· Be able and willing to coach / mentor junior
colleagues in this area
· An ability to build strong relationships with their
colleagues, portfolio companies along with VC / Equity sponsor
relationships
