Key Roles and Responsibilities
The role of the Fundraising Executive is to provide administrative support to the fundraising team, focusing on event coordination, volunteer engagement, and donor interaction.
* Support in planning and delivering nationwide fundraising campaigns and community initiatives
* Recruit, engage, and communicate with volunteers for national fundraising activities
* Coordinate volunteer scheduling and coverage across multiple locations
* Maintain and update campaign databases and tracking systems (e.g., Salesforce)
* Prepare and distribute materials, packs, and follow-up correspondence
* Provide professional telephone and administrative assistance to the fundraising team
* Assist with stock management, mail-outs, and general office tasks
Key Requirements:
* Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with strong attention to detail
* Professional communication skills, both verbal and written
* Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM systems (Salesforce desirable)
* Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively within a team
* Self-motivated, with ability to manage competing priorities
* Previous experience in charity or not-for-profit sector advantageous
