Bidvest Noonan are currently recruiting for a Site Supervisor to support with managing a fast paced day-to-day operation in Galway.
This role will be responsible for managing a team of cleaning operatives.
Job Purpose:
It is essential that the client's site is maintained to excellent standards.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Supervision (and direction where needed) of all cleaning team activities
* Maintaining excellent client relationship
* Advocating and developing a positive team spirit which will involve maintaining and developing high levels of safety, health, and environmental protection
* Monitoring of work through daily spot checks, audits, and staff interactions to ensure high standards are maintained
* Management of staff rosters to ensure absenteeism and annual leave cover
* Resolution of issues where they arise in a professional manner, and fair treatment of all
* Management of wages and holidays
* Preparation of work schedules / rosters
* Implementation of (including the arrangement of) staff training when required
* Other works as needed
Person Specification
Essential Experience, Skills and Personal Qualities:
* Cleaning experience is essential
* Supervisor experience is essential
* Experience working in a fast paced retail environment is desirable.
* Computer literate is an advantage, but training will be provided
* Excellent customer service skills
* Strong communicator
* High sense of responsibility
* Ability to identify issues and take action when needed in a safe and timely manner
* Ability to empower and motivate others
